Electronic Engineer

We are looking for an Electronic Engineer with expertise in ARM and FPGA hardware, as well as artificial intelligence (AI) skills and knowledge of radio frequency (RF). The ideal candidate will have strong experience in developing and implementing advanced electronic systems, focusing on performance optimization and final product quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and development of hardware systems based on ARM microprocessors and FPGAs.
  • Implementation and integration of artificial intelligence algorithms to enhance product functionality.
  • Understanding of RF circuits for satellite applications.
  • Collaboration with software and firmware engineering teams to ensure smooth integration between hardware and software.
  • Optimizing the design to address challenges in the space environment.
  • Development and maintenance of detailed technical documentation.
  • Testing and validation of prototypes to ensure compliance with technical specifications and quality standards.
  • Participation in defining project specifications and evaluating technical solutions.
  • Technical support during production and post-production phases.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in hardware design using ARM microprocessors and FPGAs.
  • Proficiency in artificial intelligence and machine learning, with a preference for experience in frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
  • Familiarity with electronic design tools like Altium Designer, Xilinx Vivado, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of hardware testing and validation techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.

Additional Skills:

  • Experience with Communication Protocols:
  • Familiarity with Xilinx and Lattice FPGA systems.
  • Familiarity with systems based on STM32F4 and MPS430 microcontrollers.
  • Experience with software development environments for hardware-software integration (HIL – Hardware In the Loop with LabVIEW, MATLAB, or Linux).
  • Knowledge of RF circuits and wireless communication systems.
  • Experience in designing low-power embedded systems.
  • Programming skills in languages such as C/C++, Python, or VHDL/Verilog.

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with a strong background in mechanical design, mechanisms, materials, tolerances, material treatments, and composite materials design. The ideal candidate will have 3–4 years of experience in mechanical design and a solid understanding of structural optimization based on load requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies, ensuring functionality, reliability, and manufacturability.
  • Perform 3D modeling and 2D drafting using SolidWorks and CATIA.
  • Analyze mechanical systems and mechanisms to ensure performance and compliance with specifications.
  • Apply knowledge of materials, tolerances, manufacturing processes, material treatments, and composite materials to optimize designs.
  • Conduct structural optimization considering static and dynamic load conditions.
  • Select appropriate materials, treatments, and composite layups based on mechanical, thermal, wear, fatigue, and corrosion requirements.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (electrical, systems, and manufacturing) to ensure design integration.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, drawings, BOMs, and treatment/process specifications.
  • Support prototype fabrication, testing, validation, and interface with manufacturing and quality departments regarding material and process issues.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 3–4 years of experience in mechanical design and development.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks and CATIA CAD tools.

  • Experience with FEM/FEA analysis tools (e.g., FEMAP, SolidWorks Simulation).
  • Knowledge of multibody analysis software (e.g., ADAMS, Simscape)
  • Knowledge of GD&T standards and mechanical testing.
  • Experience in composite material design, analysis, and manufacturing (e.g., carbon fiber, fiberglass, hybrid structures).
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in structural optimization under various load conditions and familiar with FEM tools, ideally FEMAP. The position is also open to recent graduates who have completed an experimental master’s thesis in related fields.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform mechanical and structural analyses of components and assemblies.
  • Support design activities through simulation and optimization of mechanical performance.
  • Conduct FEA (Finite Element Analysis) using FEMAP or equivalent FEM software.
  • Collaborate with design engineers to optimize parts based on load cases and manufacturing constraints.
  • Analyze and interpret results to propose design improvements and weight/cost optimizations.
  • Ensure structural integrity and compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Prepare technical documentation and analysis reports.
  • Interface with design teams using SolidWorks and CATIA for geometry preparation and model validation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience (or strong academic background) in mechanical analysis, FEA, and structural optimization.
  • Familiarity with SolidWorks and CATIA CAD tools.
  • Good knowledge of materials and mechanical behavior under static and dynamic loads.
  • Experience with FEM tools, preferably FEMAP (alternatively ANSYS, Abaqus, or Nastran).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of experience in mechanical analysis or simulation engineering.
  • Knowledge of mechanisms, composite materials, and manufacturing constraints.
  • Familiarity with optimization methods and parametric modeling.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
